Full disclosure, I am a woman and I believe this product is marketed towards men. The hold on my curly hair is okay and it doesn't dry out my hair. The hold could be stronger to last a few more days.

The reason for the three stars is the smell. I put essential oils in the product and that masked the smell for the most part. With that said, I do think this product is marketed to men.
